Rebellion Weap-One

Visual Presentation

Inspired by the most profound race car suspensions, the proprietary tourbillon movement – made in collaboration with Rebellion Timepieces and Concepto, and designed by Fabrice Gonet – is housed in an easily detachable tube. Our part of job was visualization and presentation of such a remarkable timepiece for it’s first world launch on BaselWorld 2017.

Going Into Details

Case Visualization

Free from traditional restrictions of form and use, REBELLION’s newest timepiece literally breaks the mold. Worn on the body or displayed on a dashboard, this piece of mechanical art is uninhibited by existing rules. Suspended between the hour and minute rollers, an asymmetrical, 60-second flying tourbillon rotates on multiple axes. This novel and innovative feature enables the tourbillon to defy earth’s gravitational pull from all sides. Completed with two wheel nuts, this magnificent piece is truly revolutionary and unique.

Tube and More

Dial & Movement Visualization

An exquisite tube of anti-reflective sapphire crystal houses the innovative engine, giving an unobstructed view of its dynamic movements. Inspired by the most profound race car suspensions, this unique proprietary movement – made in collaboration with Concepto – is housed in an easily detachable tube. Hours on the left and minutes on the right – a tourbillon is expertly suspended between two rollers. A speed differential causes the 60-second flying tourbillon to rotate on multiple axes, rendering this manual engine extremely resistant to earth’s gravitational pull.

Red & Black

Bracelet & Back-Case Visualization

Last but not least, the big impact of complete Weap-One design is double layered full leather strap made of black genuine leather and red sued one. As seen on presentation below, the back-side of timepiece is mostly made of leather strap with cut round window made of titanium for seeing movement back side and limited edition number.
